Beautiful Bloom

I was website surfing and found this cute book! Bloom cosmetic's Beauty in Bloom, illustrations by Rebecca Wetzler. Kind of reminds me of those curvy books. Bring back water-colouring I say!

Draw me a dress!

This work is by design graduate Rosalind Keep, who has been snapped up by Oasis to create the "Trompe L'Oeil mini collection" which is set to go on sale in December. Can someone snap me up?

I love this 3d on 2d idea, kind looks like adult paper dolls! I believe our very own Nadesha Godamune (2008 AUT Graduate) was the first person to bring forward the idea! -above

fun with feet!

Hey Followers!

So I found this neat series of photographs (Hansel from Basel, Spring/Summer 09) by Ye Rin Mok, thought it was a bit of fun! She also has a blog and a shop, if you want to check her out!

Hope your day isn't "doom and gloom" like the weather in Auckland today!

Much love xx

All that glitters...

My dear friend Hilary, is not only a fabulous photographer but an artist too! I went to the Elam exhibition the other week to check out her work. It defiantly stood out from the rest, probably because it was totally down my alley! colour, glitter and girlyness! tick tick tick! these pieces must of taken her hours! my favourite is the series of self portraits, where she did elaborate make up, photographed it and then beaded on top. I managed to get her to pose in front of some of her work, no autographs though :(
