The jolly man has visited indeed!

Hey guys!

Hope your christmas day was as fun filled (and belly filled) as mine!
My little brother got given a wii and it has been a true highlight of the day! I managed to convincingly smash all 4 of my brothers in boxing, it was quite a work out!! I also played my cousins in tennis and stepdad in golf-this was very tricky, he got fairly frustrated as a pro golfer after hitting 12 over par! ha. We spent alot of the day swimming and enjoying Auckland's beautiful weather. I managed to get my first coating of colour for the summer, yay! Hopefully by the end of the holidays people will be calling me Amber Browncliffe!

I just found this neat artist based in Melbourne named Catherine Campbell-surprise surprise she does girly illustrations! take a look at her website for more images... www.catherinecampbell.net

Merry Christmas!
Love Amber xx

amber online

Finally!
For those of you who missed it here is the video of my show online!

AMBER WHITECLIFFE: Smashed Palette.
SPRING/SUMMER 2010.

My garments explore the form and detail of tiffany
lampshades and porcelain china alike. Look but
do not touch. Smashed Palette is the liberation of
the forbidden, and a celebration of the delicate
and the divine.

Marie

Sorry for all the videos, I'm usually against them but this girl is such a beautiful singer, and cute too! Her name is Marie Hsiao and she is only 16! I found her on youtube under 'mreebee3' while searching for Imogen Heap songs-she sings her own version of this too, its so sweet! Anyway, have a listen and leave a comment if you want me to post more of her. She is also on Myspace where she has a few of her own songs; http://www.myspace.com/mariehsiao

Trains and sewing machines....

I HEART IMOGEN HEAP!
That new remix playing on the radio is so awful!
but it pleasantly reminded me about this wonderfully
talented women! Enjoy! xx

furry fashion

So I am aware that this came out in September, but the images have been sitting on my computer for a while and I figure they need to show their ugly heads onto my blog page. Not sure how keen I am on the actual clothes, but what an awesome photo shoot slash way of promoting the movie!

For those of you who don't know about it; Spike Jonze has collaborated with Opening Ceremony to create this amazingly bizarre collection of fashion pieces inspired by the world of Where the wild things are.

Two for the price of one

Ah ha! I have found two great things today!

1. www.thefashionspot.com =Amazing!
You could spend hours on it! there was so much I couldn't even choose a picture!
If you want to be up with the play in the fashion world become a member and check it regularly!

2. Sandra Buckland =Avante Garde!
This lady is to be commended! what a treat I had looking through her collections.
I love her use of knit and fashion forward appeal. My favourite is the geometric origami type dress. What a find!
