We were pleasantly surprised by Blak’s Winter 2013 show, we really enjoyed it. Starting with a cobalt blue (another designer using this colour!) and black sparkly outfit, followed by blue and white striped numbers with an image of dripping roses across the chest. The rose motif continued throughout the range, they almost looked like brooches, placed on the left had corner of T-Shirts and jumpers. Black featured turtle necks, layered lace, and a silk black&white print that looked like tweed. A garment that we both turned to each other and stated "thats cute" was a little black dress; the front had a floral print and the back plain black silk georgette, the skirt was a mini A line silhouette. The Models hair looked effective, soft tease buns, with sparkly headbands-reminded us of birds nests! This matched with the black defined eyeliner, rosey checks and natural lips.
A cohesive collection with lots of creativity.
